Building Your Vision for 35 Years

First and foremost, thank you to Cincinnati and all of our clients who have put their trust in Cintech to build their visions over the past 35 years.   Cintech is grateful to be able to help businesses expand and grow their footprint throughout the region.   Also, congratulations to all the other businesses that have reached significant milestones.  The survival rates of small businesses are slim: only roughly 34% survive in their first 10 years and the rate only gets smaller over time.  Needless to say, 35 years is no small feat.

Cintech Construction was founded in 1984 by Roger B. Wade and the company’s mission since its establishment is to deliver the highest quality construction management, general construction, and design-build services to build our customer’s visions.   In its 35 years of operation, Cintech has constructed over 450 projects at an approximate overall value of $550 million.  Projects range from tenant build-outs, restaurants, and retail to large warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing facilities.  We have built predominantly within the greater Cincinnati area, however we build throughout all of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

Cintech has earned several awards and accolades. We have been listed as one of the largest general contractors in Cincinnati (based on billings) as recognized by the Cincinnati Business Courier.  Cintech was recently on the Fast-55 in 2016 when growth calculated to be 208% year over year between 2014-2016.  In 2011, Cintech built the offices for the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, the first LEED Gold certified City building as well as the first design-build project for the city.  Currently it is 9th on the list of greenest buildings in Cincinnati.

Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District recently awarded Cintech with best earthwork management practices.

So what has made Cintech successful for the last 35 years?  Experience, Communication, and Adaptation.


Our company’s leadership averages over 30 years of experience in the industry.  Our leaders range from educational backgrounds in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction.  With their collective knowledge and experience accrued through three decades of commercial building design and construction, they have trained and continue to train our strong, talented employees who will become the next generation of leaders.


Construction relies heavily upon precise communication that removes variance in interpretation so that all parties, the contractor, the client, the architects have the same expectations.  We find this to be of singular importance for our Project Management teams, to repeatedly clarify, to ask questions, to leave no stone unturned, and make no assumptions.  Our excellence in communicating effectively is a fundamental key in sustaining client satisfaction and client retention.   It’s also what helps build our relationships with our base of subcontractors and suppliers.  With a strong and loyal subcontractor base that shares our values, customers can be assured that their projects are built with utmost attention to detail and quality.  Effective communication has enabled Cintech to complete all projects on schedule and on budget.


The construction industry thirty-five years ago in 1984 had a very different landscape from that of 2018.

In 1984, communication relied on printed drawings, fax machines, land lines, and meetings face to face.  Now, in 2018, relative to 1984, we are in a land of science fiction: cell phones, drones, 3D printing, BIM (building information modeling), with augmented and virtual reality building solutions knocking at the front door.  Where will this all be in another 35 years?  Our cell phone will be what a fax machine is to us today, an antique.

Looking ahead what will the future hold?  The best we can do is anticipate and plan accordingly to what we believe the future will bring, and adapt and change to what we know is unfolding now.  What we know now is that adaptation mostly takes place in leveraging new technologies and methods of communication that make the building process faster, more efficient, while sustaining high standards of quality: our goal moving into the future is to sustain and push that standard higher.


Moving forward into the next 35 years, markets and technology will inevitably change, and we will change with it in order to continue growing steadily.   Regardless of these changes, experience and communication will remain a constant factor for sustaining growth throughout a continuously changing future.
