Project Summary
The Joseph Automotive Group has contracted with us to remodel Columbia Hyundai, a 30,825 square foot dealership in Montgomery, OH. The project entailed an expansion to the service waiting area and remodeling of the existing sales and showroom building. An objective of this project was to keep the dealership’s operations unaffected by construction activity. Minimal interruptions to employees and customers was critical. Throughout the course of construction, Columbia Hyundai’s sales team operated from a trailer on-site in the parking lot and the service team operated from a large conference room of the existing sales & showroom area. Activities with significant noise levels were completed during the early hours of the morning before the dealership opened. Another significant objective of the remodel was to accommodate the future of EVs. Four EV hubs were installed, (2) in the dealership’s parking lot and another (2) in the showroom. In order to add these EV stations, the existing transformer had to be replaced. This work occurred during overnight hours in coordination with Duke Energy.
