Project Summary
The Pitt Ohio project consisted of office renovations, a new terminal building (added to their existing terminal building), and a new shop building with a fueling station.
The terminal building is an 11,425 SF PEMB structure that features 28 loading docks which were designed to match the existing facility. Each dock has an overhead coiling door, rubber bumper stops for trucks, and two steel bollards embedded in the polished concrete floor slab.
The 5,590 SF shop building features six overhead doors, three on each side of the building as a means of ingress and egress. The body shop space enables Pitt to maintain their trucks at their West Chester location.
Every day of the project, Pitt Ohio needed special times in which they could proceed with their operations, during which, construction had to halt for safety purposes. To accommodate Pitt Ohio and maintain project schedule, Cintech implemented a flexible work schedule in order that Pitt Ohio could effectively conduct their business operations without interference.
