Project Summary

The Harmony at Anderson is a 110,000 sf assisted-living and memory care community that contains 95 assisted-living units and 33 memory-care units. There are 13 two-bedroom assisted-living units each with dedicated stacked laundry units. All units on the second floor feature high ceilings within each living room containing a vaulted 16′ high ceiling.

The new community features a movie theater, an exercise facility, a commercial kitchen, a spacious dining hall with a grand piano, and multiple community rooms.

Outside there are two courtyards, one for memory care and one for assisted living. Additionally, there is a perimeter walking path around the community. The building features a roundabout main entry and portico.

Between the assisted living facility and the memory care facility of The Harmony at Anderson is a connecting corridor under which runs a creek bed that is continuously running with water due to a natural spring from across Clough Pike. A box culvert system is built into the structural foundation so that water can flow underneath the building to the South end of the property. The creek contains a Flexamat ® Stream Bank Lining to help control erosion. Coincidentally, the Flexamat system is actually developed from Motz Turf Farms directly across the street!
