Medical Office Construction Services

Cintech has provided medical office building construction services for over 30 years. We have completed over 92 healthcare facilities to date ranging from dental offices, orthopedic practices, veterinarian clinics, allergy clinics, surgery & imaging centers, and ambulatory centers. Our team understands the variety of specific needs for each new medical office building project.

Building experience is invaluable in the medical and healthcare sectors. Working within the array of various health care practices has gifted us with several insights from understanding special material types, HVAC requirements, sanitary needs, low-voltage security requirements, modular wall systems, amongst others.

There is a wide variety of medical office building requirements that are contingent on the type of medical practice the project is designed for. There are some important planning factors for you to consider if you are seeking new medical office building services. Medical facility construction will provide space for maximum efficiency and patient management.

Medical Office Planning

Medical Office Contractor With Years of Construction Experience

We start each project by understanding the type of health care facility and their patient services. Dental offices have very different construction needs compared to an ambulatory center. We work in each of these medical care services, and combine our experience with your specific industry. We get straight to value-engineering, constructability, and budgeting to determine if the design and construction will work for you.

From there, we focus on pre-planning with an emphasis on special materials and long lead items. You will have particular requirements that are difficult to fill. We can anticipate them from the earliest stages during design review to strategize around lead times and scarcity in order to keep construction on schedule.

Green Construction for Your Medical Office

A clear example of the shifting philosophies governing medical construction is the environmental impact. Medical safety can feel at odds with green initiatives. Single-use sterilization, multiple power redundancies, and even segmented HVAC can all easily increase the footprint of a medical office building.

You don’t have to sacrifice safety to go green. There are plenty of ways to cut your footprint through practical design and construction. Passive heating and cooling elements can help a medical office building maintain carefully regulated temperatures with a smaller electrical bill. Sustainable construction materials, improved layouts and cleaner design philosophy can all help you achieve environmental goals while staying well within regulatory requirements.

Value-Engineering, Budgeting, and Sustainability for Your Medical Office

Maintaining a safe, sterile, and clean environment within the medical facility after construction might, at times, seem to run contrary to the resulting effectiveness of going with sustainable construction methods; IE the HVAC systems which have more specialty requirements and require more electrical power to maintain proper measures of a clean and sterile medical environment can a larger a negative impact on our global environment Single-use sterilization, multiple power redundancies and even segmented HVAC can help reduce the spread of infection can all easily increase the footprint of a medical office building.

Integrated Technologies for Your Medical Office

One of the key reasons we enjoy producing a medical office building is to fulfill technological services.Specialized medical equipment has specific housing, power and service needs. Your office has to accommodate these needs as well as the needs of your patients. You can’t be taking out windows or putting holes in walls to service an x-ray upgrade.

We do better than just plan around your healthcare technology. We integrate health care and patient care technology into the office design. Services, operations and replacements are all parts of underlying construction planning. This ensures that you can use your equipment and care for your patients without having to fight against the building housing it.

Featured Medical Office Construction Projects

  • The Union Pet Hospital is one of our favorite accomplishments. The original medical office building was 1000 square feet. We increased that size six-fold and built a pet hospital that could accommodate six exam rooms, a pharmacy, a surgical room and a dog ward to provide space for many canine patients.
  • The Evendale Surgery & Imaging Center ground-up new construction built in three phases. First, three individual single-story buildings were erected to expand the number of operating rooms, support areas and utility rooms. The second phase added an imaging center with its own entrance. It houses x-ray and MRI suites. Phase III was a two- story upgrade that has more operating rooms, recovery rooms, utility rooms, administrative spaces and a kitchen. It bridged the spaces between the other buildings and unified the entire center.
  • Another project is the Red Bank Medical Office Building. It houses four unique medical practices, an ambulatory surgery center, and an imaging center for patient care. Overall, the project provides support for a vast range of medical operations, and it allows the different units to work autonomously with their patients even while sharing resources.
